September – More Details
- The ticket price includes all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges. Payment is made through my online payment platform (debit/credit).
- All park days must be used within 7 days, beginning September 5 and ending September 14. The clock starts ticking the first day you use your ticket, and you’ll have 6 days left to use remaining park days. Tickets will expire after September 14, even if you haven’t used all of your park days. Remaining days on partially used tickets are non-refundable.
- To further clarify – our tickets can’t be used before September 5 or after September 14. If you first use your ticket on September 11 or later, you won’t be able to use all the days on your ticket because it expires after September 14. If you first use your ticket on September 5, you’ll have 6 more days to use the remaining 4 days on your ticket. In that case, your tickets will expire after May 11 (due to the 7-day rule).
- Tickets will be digital/mobile, accessible through the Universal Orlando Resort App. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks. You will not be able to get printed tickets.
- Weather: Hotter, more humid, expect lots of rain (probably every day), in the middle of hurricane season.
- Universal Happenings: Fall/Halloween feel, Halloween Horror Nights (extra cost) on many nights.
- 2026 Dates/Plans: I haven’t scheduled dates for 2026 yet, but we’ll likely have one spring trip and one fall trip. Epic Universe will be included in our tickets, so the price will increase. I’ll also likely add group hotels in 2026 since Universal has been so easy to work with.
November Trip Details
- Dates: November 6-15
- Price: $218
- Ticket Details: 5 park days, 2 parks (Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios), park-to-park tickets. (Our tickets won’t include Epic Universe. You can buy a 1-day ticket separately.)
- Group Hotel: Cabana Bay, $155 + 12.5% tax per night for standard room, $185 + 12.5% tax per night for family suite. Parking is $14 per vehicle.
- Group Hotel: Royal Pacific, $369 + 12.5% tax per night (see Group Hotel section below for more details.) Parking is $28 per vehicle.
- Room Reservation Deadline: August 31.
November – More Details
- The November trip doesn’t include Volcano Bay, so it’s less expensive than September. The rate for Royal Pacific rooms is a little higher than in September.
- The ticket price includes all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges. Payment is made through my online payment platform (debit/credit).
- All park days must be used within 7 days, beginning November 6 and ending November 15. The clock starts ticking the first day you use your ticket, and you’ll have 6 days left to use remaining park days. Tickets will expire after November 15, even if you haven’t used all of your park days. Remaining days on partially used tickets are non-refundable.
- To further clarify the paragraph above – our tickets can’t be used before November 6 or after November 15. If you first use your ticket on November 12 or later, you won’t be able to use all the days on your ticket because it expires after November 15. If you first use your ticket on November 6, you’ll have 6 more days to use the remaining 4 days on your ticket. In that case, your tickets will expire after November 12 (due to the 7-day rule).
- Tickets will be digital/mobile, accessible through the Universal Orlando Resort App. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks. You will not be able to get printed tickets.
- Weather: Cooler, less humid, less chance of rain. (Although still in hurricane season, it’s less likely.)
- Universal Happenings: Christmas/holiday feel due to Christmas decorations and activities.
Group Hotels – More Details
We have a choice of two hotels for both trips:
Cabana Bay – Prime Value Hotel, tap here for details
Royal Pacific – Signature Hotel*, tap here for details
*The biggest perk of this signature hotel is it offers free unlimited Universal Express access. Many families recommend choosing a signature resort for this reason since the express passes are so expensive.
Other perks of staying at a Universal hotel:
- You’re closer to the parks.
- Free transportation to the two parks and Volcano Bay, plus CityWalk area (some hotels are walkable to CityWalk area).
- Early admission to the Harry Potter worlds and 30 minutes early admission to Volcano Bay.
- As part of the group, you’ll get discounted self-parking.
IMPORTANT: You’ll reserve your rooms directly with Universal. You’ll pay one night’s deposit, and the rest on arrival. Make sure you understand their cancellation and refund policy before reserving rooms. I have no control over cancellations and refunds. I’ll share details about how to reserve group rooms after you order tickets.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Payment will be submitted via debit/credit card when you register.
- If you need to cancel, a $50 per-ticket cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund if you cancel before I email your ticket numbers. If you cancel after I email your ticket numbers, a $75 per-ticket cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. Tickets aren’t transferable to other people if you can’t go. Please email me if you need to cancel.
- Partially used tickets aren’t refundable.
- Universal has their own cancellation and refund policies for hotel room. I have no control over them. Please make sure you understand their policies before reserving rooms.
- Submitting your registration and payment acknowledges your understanding and agreement with my cancellation and refund policy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do your tickets include tax?
The price includes all taxes and fees.
Is there any cost for children ages 2 and under?
Children ages 2 and under don’t need a ticket, so they’re free.
Are the tickets discounted?
Yes, but I can’t tell you how much because Universal isn’t showing prices for our travel dates yet. For our spring trip, however, our tickets were discounted $242+ per ticket, depending on the date the ticket was first used.
(You can figure your exact discount by going to the Univeral Orlando ticket webpage, selecting your number of days, number of parks, park-to-park option, and clicking through the screens until you get the total price, including tax.)
Is the price per day?
It’s per ticket, not per day. (The price includes all five days.)
What dates are our tickets valid for?
See the September – More Details and November – More Details above for an explanation of ticket validity dates and the “7-Day Rule.”
Will the price increase if Universal raises ticket prices in 2025?
Our ticket prices are locked in regardless of 2025 price increases.
Do you offer payment plans? Do you accept debit or credit cards? What payment methods do you accept?
I don’t offer payment plans for this trip. Your debit or credit card will be charged when you submit your registration. I can’t accept any other payment methods for this trip.
Will you run out of tickets? Is there a reservation system for visiting the parks?
There is currently no limit on tickets, and Universal doesn’t have a park reservation system.
Will tickets be mailed to us?
Tickets are digital (not paper), so I will email them to you. You’ll upload your ticket numbers to the Universal Orlando Resort App before your travel date. A cell phone will be required to access your tickets and enter the parks. You won’t be able to get printed tickets for this trip.
Are there any group events or meetups at Universal this year? Is there a required group event to qualify for these tickets?
Attendance at a group event is not required to qualify for our Universal tickets. We won’t have any group events or meetups for spring.
You offered 3-day tickets in the past. Why don’t you offer them now?
In order to streamline (and plan more trips!), I’m only offering 5-day tickets moving forward. The price difference between 3- and 5-day tickets is less than $14. If you plan to stay fewer than 5 days, you can use the extra days to see the fireworks on your arrival day and/or catch a couple of your favorite rides before you leave on your departure day without feeling like you’re wasting money/park days.
Are you doing any more Universal trips in 2025?
Our three trips (May, September, and November) are it for this year!
Why do you offer Volcano Bay in spring and late summer, but not fall?
For my spring trip (and late summer trip this year), I add Volcano Bay since the weather is warmer. For my fall trip, I won’t include Volcano Bay due to the cooler weather and closures.
How do we get lockers for rides that require them if we don’t have physical tickets?
Universal team members stationed at the rides have “locker tickets” available for anyone who needs them.
Does the ticket price include rooms? Will you have discounted group rooms for us this summer and fall?
The ticket price doesn’t include rooms. I’ve added group rooms for all Universal trips this year. Please see details in the sections above.
If we stay onsite at a Universal Resort, can we get the Early Admission perks with these tickets?
Early Admission is tied to your resort stay, not your tickets. You’ll get Early Admission through your hotel room key (if you stay at a Universal hotel).
If we stay onsite at a Universal Premium Resort that includes the Express Passes, how do we get the pass without physical tickets?
As with Early Admission, the Premium Resort Express Pass benefit is through your hotel room key, not your tickets.
Can we add Express Passes? Do we get Express Passes if we stay at a Universal hotel?
You can add Express Passes for any of our trips. If you’re staying at our Royal Pacific group hotel, they’ll be included free during your stay.
Can these tickets be upgraded to annual passes?
Our tickets can no longer be upgraded to annual passes.
If I register for late summer or fall and change my mind and decide I’d rather go at a different time, can I transfer my tickets?
Tickets can’t be transferred to other trips. You’ll have to cancel and get tickets for the trip(s) you want.
What happens if there’s a hurricane?
June 1 through November 30 is hurricane season in Florida. Depending on the timeframe of our tickets, Universal may not make accommodations if a hurricane hits during that time. I’ll do my best on your behalf if a hurricane affects your stay, but there are no guarantees. Please register with this in mind.
